The exhibition is a non-competitive showcase for amateur and professional artists, craft workers and photographers living within 30 miles of Church Stretton. You will find hundreds of paintings, collage, photography and various forms of craftwork on display. Most of the work in the exhibition is for sale.
This year’s event has a change of venue and will be held at St Lawrence Primary School, Shrewsbury Road, Church Stretton SY6 6EX – adjacent to where we have been in previous years.
Monday 25th July 7.30pm, St Lawrence Primary School
Admission £3 including refreshments
General Opening Times
The exhibition is open every day from Tuesday 26th July to Saturday 6th August, 10.30am to 5pm. Admission is £1; free to children, students and exhibitors. Your £1 entry fee allows you to return as many times as you like during the exhibition.
Tea and coffee will be available during the exhibition.
We are delighted that local artist Lucinda Lovesey, a semi-finalist from this year’s series of The Great Pottery Throw Down will be popping along for a series of Meet the Potter sessions. This will be a chance to chat with Lucinda and see some of her pieces from the series. Times are 11am to 1pm on Wednesday 3rd to Saturday 6th August.
We will have a display of pottery created by the children from the Afterschool Craft Club who have been exploring the folklore surrounding The Green Man.
