Coffee Concert – Wenlock Jazz Ensemble

Formerly known as the Lockdown Trio, this talented group came together when Dave and Lesley lifted local spirits with live garden concerts in Much Wenlock during the pandemic. When Louise left the soul band she was in, she joined them to play and sing jazz and explore a variety of musical styles.

Louise’s classical and musical background, David’s extensive professional theatre expertise and Lesley’s musical and band-leading credentials are impressive. With their extensive performing experience this group delivers a great programme of jazz standards, blues, contemporary tunes and moving instrumentals. They recently performed at the Much Wenlock Festival to great acclaim.

They are joined by Peter Cabara on bass and Larry Tench on drums.
